Machinepart Engineering employs a youthful energetic team with a wide ranging skill set. We have skilled engineers with nearly 30 years engineering experience, improvers and we run a Modern apprenticeship scheme.
Training and development are actively encouraged. The importance we place on bringing young people into the industry has resulted in a joint venture with Castle Manor Business and Enterprise College in Haverhill. Machinepart Engineering is running technology classes for a group of Year 11 pupils, supplying both materials and resources. The objective is to inspire these young people to consider an occupation in engineering and to become the craftsmen of the future.

Robert Haylock, Managing DirectorStarting out as an apprentice Robert has spent his career in the engineering industry, he founded Machinepart Engineering in 1989. The company has experienced steady and organic growth over that period and is a financially secure and solid business.
The company ethos reflects Robert's own values. There is a real commitment to personal growth and development, this is acknowledged as the way to keep the company moving forward.
Jules Murcott, Workshop Manager
With an HND in Mechanical and Electronic Engineering Jules has built upon his qualifications over the last 10 years with Machinepart Engineering. Joining as an apprentice he has progressed and grown with the company and now holds the position of Workshop Manager with responsibility for a team of 12 engineers.
Jules enjoys his role and sees the opportunity to develop further as the company expands. He is the CAD/CAM specialist and the primary contact for any technical machining issues.
